A five-page packet to help your students practice the comprehension strategies (summarizing, visualizing, inferring, predicting, connecting, and questioning), as well as figurative language and advanced vocabulary. I use this packet for my students' self-selected books that they read independently at home or during SSR time. This is a great way to guide them into practicing the comprehension strategies while they read for themselves. I usually use it when we are studying poetry or drama in cla
