Art Response Activity
In this activity, students analyze a piece of artwork and write their responses to focused artistic questions. It can be used in a myriad of ways. Perhaps, your class is headed on a field trip to a local art museum and you want each child to critically consider one piece of artwork. A simple cardboard and binder clip makeshift clipboard would do the trick so students could carry this around with them. This activity could be used as an art appreciation activity in an art class. Experience
I am a certified teacher with ten years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught students in K-8 in all general subjects and I have also taught music and history to students in grades K-12. At present, I am teaching technology to students in K-8.
Teaching style
I believe that students learn best when actively engaged. It is important to me that I tap into students' interests and natural learning tendencies as a springboard for learning new concepts. I try my best to keep students excited about their lessons through multi-sensory learning activities and a positive learning atmosphere.
