An excellent cover lesson activity for students in year 7+, or could be used in a unit exploring the relationship between art and music. Students can use headphones to select a song of their choice, and then design a new album cover that suits the music using the layout found on the 'Spotify' App. Students always find this task engaging and love creating unique and original artworks using this template and expressing the identity through music.

A fun activity for students to complete focusing on branding/logos from a Pop Art Perspective. Students follow the instructions and look at the examples provided to create their own cropped pop art style drawing or artwork. This activity also works well as an independent cover lesson to be left for a substitute teacher, all they'll need is coloured pencils. Students produce really bold, bright, effective results from following this process.
