A great way for students to express everything about themselves in a very "movie" way! I take a picture of each student and glue it in the picture frame, have the students add colour, then collect them all and create a "All Stars" classroom book. Title Page is FREE at my TPT store. Students literally fight over this book on a daily basis and LOVE to see the books created by the students in previous years.
A great, visual way to show students the rule that they need to work on. It's also a great communication tool for the parents. We don't always have time to talk with the student and sent that email home, but we still want to hold our students accountable. So why not fill this in with the student as you're helping them fix that rule! Lots of room to explain what happened and how you and the student are working together to fix it. I keep these when they come back as a form of documentation.

Over 90 black and white themed editable schedule cards for your daily classroom schedule. I have used these a number of ways. My 2 favorite ways where by using the blue hanging pocket chart, or by putting dollar store sticker magnets on the back and sticking them on my magnetic white board. I have included a couple of the core subject as sometimes I found I needed more English, Math, Science...for the same day. I have included both a PDF for easy printing as well as a WordDoc of these cards.

This is a great tool for not only teacher assessment, but to send home with the child so the parent's/guardian can see exactly what their child is doing while reading. Included are spaces to check off what the student did while reading, as well as spaces to fill in what you'd like to see them work on. I use this in conjunction with my home reading program. Parents love nothing more than to hear how their child is doing at school - this is a super easy way to do that!

A great way to incorporate art into your math lesson! Students will LOVE this hands on, creative project. This project focused on the 2D and 3D shape unit, covering everything from straight and curved lines of a 2D shape, to the faces, vertices, and edges in a 3D shape. Students create and fold net boxes as well; but with a fun twist. Students create a spring (or Easter) basket (a cube) to put all their other shapes into, while recording all their knowledge of each 2D and 3D shape they creat
A great tool for every student's desk. This booklet includes all dolch words and TONS of word wall words that students use in their daily writing. Each letter has it's own page with lots of space for students to write in new words. Also included are: days of the week, months of the year, colours, shapes, family words (aunt, grandpa, mother...), numbers, and animals. All pages are black and white for easy photocoping. 33 pages in total
What a fun way for students to share what they did on their summer vacation...and they can even create their own hashtags! I photocopy these on to many different colours and students can pick the colours they like best for their mini booklet. They can even include more than the three snapshots (you can photocopy the second page multiple times). Check out my other back to school items!
Included are over 100 journal prompts for writing! I print them onto coloured heavier paper, laminate, then cut them into strips. Students can pick 3 cards at random, then choose to write about one of them. When they are finished, they return them to the Journal Prompt Jar. You can also use this as a class writing prompt when doing Regie Routman work.
A great way to incorporate writing, drawing, and fun into your Literature Circles! Students can work on these as they read the book. It's always great to see the creativity each student comes up with - even if they are reading the same book, they all turn out different! Once students finish each card, they cut out along the outside edges and fold over and glue at the middle line. I usually print these on heavier paper so they are more durable. 6 Cards in total including title, plot, character
A great way to have students respond to a read-a-loud, a novel study or a literature circle book. I print each section out on coloured paper for them (green paper for lettuce and pickles, yellow for cheese, white for the buns, red for tomato, and pink for the onion and meat). I have students cut out each sandwich piece and we either staple them all together at the top, or I hole punch them and use a round fastener so they can flip through them.
A super fun and engaging way for students to show their learning based on a book they have read. I often use these for literature circle projects or as an extra project for those students who are done their work. Such creative finished projects always come from this activity and parents LOVE seeing these boxes at student led conferences! Art and English in one! Included are: explanations for each side of the box, assessment checklist, and cut outs for the cereal box (character ingredients,
What better way to get to know your students then right from their parents!
I love sending this form out because the parents give me a TON of ideas to motivate children based on their interests, strengths, and weaknesses.
There is also a portion at the top that request parents to fill in their email which is great because that how I do a TON of communication (our school is trying to be paperless when it comes to sending notes home)
