This is an entertaining and enjoyable project where the students get to design a neighborhood of their own! It allows them to use their creativity all while practicing mathematical skills in the areas of perimeter, area, and circumference. Included in this project packet are detailed instructions, a grading rubric where the points for each section are broken down with a place for teacher's comments, along with a formula page for review and reference! This is a 100 point project!

In this activity, the students will survey their classmates regarding their likes and interests in order to learn about a ratio and what it means.
