About the store
Ask Why is an educational resource for teachers to access actual scientific material gathered from research papers and international travel. As a tenured high school biology educator living in New York I am constantly inspired by the world around me. I "Ask Why" things are the way they are which has driven me to create curriculum for fellow educators to appropriately educate our youth about wildlife, wild places and process in our environment. I spend my summers collecting passport stamps traveling with teachers to conduct research and build curriculum in regards to various scientific phenomenon. We work closely with State Standards in order to create meaningful lessons and worksheets. I have taught, volunteered and collaborated with children and science researchers/educators abroad in over 40 countries. These experiences are taken back to the classroom in which curriculum has been built to supply the next generation of global thinkers/citizens. I currently hold my professional license in the areas of high school Biology and a separate professional license in the area of Special Education. I am also certified in Elementary Education grades 1-6 as well as Special Education grades 1-6. I hope you are just as inspired as I am with the ASK WHY teaching material.
