This is a Pokemon inspired multiplication fact matching game. It includes facts for numbers 1-9. It can be separated into small matching games by each number, or you could combine a few to challenge the students with more items to match! My 2nd graders love using this as an introduction to multiplication facts. I have them use dry erase boards to draw arrays to solve the problems as they are first learning about multiplication!
This is a symmetry sort where students will look at cards that have various 2D shapes on them. Each shape has a line that divides the shape into two parts. Students can sort the cards into two piles, shapes that show symmetry and those that do not! Can be a great visual sort for students to practice identifying lines of symmetry!

This is a powerpoint that I use in Google Slides. I use it to analyze my students' Math NWEA MAP data. I look at my NWEA MAP data and place the student names into the column that they are "ready to learn" based on their overall RIT score within that band. These things that they are "ready to learn" are from the NWEA learning progressions. I have added Virginia Standards of Learning for 2nd grade on each slide, but you could remove the Virginia SOLS and correlate them to your own state Standards

This is a "craftivity" for teaching ordinal numbers 1st-15th. Students will create a snowman with these shapes and they'll write the ordinal number with the ordinal number word. This is a great math station to be used with 1st or 2nd graders!
Pizza fractions PBL for 2nd graders! Students visit their past favorite teacher in the building and ask for the teacher's pizza order. The student then returns to class to plan out the pizza for the teacher. Lastly, the student will use construction paper to create a pizza for the teacher to "eat"!
