Writing Telegrams - Brief and Historical Communication
By the end of this lesson, students will have gained an understanding of what telegrams were and how they functioned historically. Included is a worksheet which corresponds with a Google Arts and Culture article about the history of the telegraph. Students will learn the conventions of a traditional telegram and have the opportunity to practice writing their own telegrams. Students will also complete a fill in the blank activity utilizing historical telegrams.
