This is what I use to get my 5th graders started with science fair! The chart helps keep them organized with the steps they need to complete: topic, question, research and bibliography, hypothesis, materials/procedure, experiment, results, conclusion, display board, presentation. Each step has an explanation, a place to write a due date and point value (out of 100 total). The second page is a Topic Proposal Form to be completed by students and parents.
