Social networking Composer Study (technology, writing, cross curricular,music)
This creative composer study tasks the student to create pretend social networking page (profile) for a composer. By including photos, basic information, and "friends", the students will truly get an inside look at their composer. It is designed to not just be a hum-drum research paper, but be a creative, modern research project!
It could even be used as an extra project for GATE students.

Teaching style
When I teach a new concept, my goal is to approach that concept from as many different ways as possible, hoping to create a "light bulb moment" for each and every student. I like to balance my class time with instruction, application, fun, movement and assessment.
My own education history
I received my BS in Music Education with concentration in vocal studies from North Georgia College and State University and am a Georgia certified teacher.
