This game plays just like the classic Connect Four. Pair up your students and provide them with one game board to share. The objective is to cover four circles in a row—either horizontally or vertically. Students take turns using a token to mark their place on any sight word on the board. They can also use their turn to block their opponent from getting four in a row. Tip: Have students read the word on the board before covering it.
