Teaching is my passion and I've been doing what I love for 13 years. Within these years I have taught grades 1 through to 6 and was also granted teacher professional leave to further my studies in Inquiry based learning. During the task, students will need be able to:

- Navigate online shopping
- List ingredients
- Add money amounts
- Estimate
- Check calculations
The task lends itself to practicing rounding to the nearest 10 cents or dollar as an extension activity.
The websites referred to, are Australian sites using the Australian dollar. I am more than happy to adjust websites to suit.

Facilitating the thinking process through a hands-on, minds-on approach. Looking into my classroom, you'd see students working at tables, on the floor, in groups or independently You'd hear working noise, laughter, brains ticking and you'd see me, assisting,encouraging, learning!
