Some of the kids who needed support, filled in each number and then rubbed out the smaller ones. 2x Board games In pairs, students roll either 2 or 3 dice (depending on board) and use mental maths to add the numbers together. If their number appears in a circle they can cross it out. If it does not, they wait until it is their turn again to try their luck. I laminate copies and have students use whiteboard markers to cross out numbers. You can use counters for students who are not yet ready for mental math strategies.

Cards for numbers 1-10, used to strengthen number knowledge in addition and subtraction. I have the answer on the back on a sticker so I can pair students off to use as flash cards. (ROYGBIV colours)

Ordering money from least value to biggest value

Can be used as a reading activity. I use them in Numeracy, where students decided whether they were possible or impossible events.

All multiplication stories are divisible by 5. All my picture stories are laminated and the kids work through the different problems on their tables.
