This is a communication board for use before, during, and after reading Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion. It can be used to introduce vocabulary, answer comprehension questions, and identifying characters, setting, and events. It was made with students with autism or speech disorders in mind. We encourage making a copy of the board to make icons removable especially when using with students with autism so that they can learn and practice talking to a communication partner.
