This rubric can be used for any class discussion or debate. Copy back to back. The front of it is used for students who participate with ease. The back can be used for students who struggle to participate during discussion and debate, or those who are unprepared for the topic at hand.
All students will be graded fairly and accurately with this rubric! A chance for a follow-up project is given for those who struggle to share their ideas.
My students LOVED this and I hope yours do too! Students use knowledge of unit rate and proportions to create two different stores. They then go "shopping" in each other's stores and find the unit rate of each item to help them decide where they can get the best buy!
