My students LOVED this and I hope yours do too! Students use knowledge of unit rate and proportions to create two different stores. They then go "shopping" in each other's stores and find the unit rate of each item to help them decide where they can get the best buy!

My class SERIOUSLY struggled with combining like terms. I made this chart for them to help simplify it. It worked like a charm, and my low students still use it on their tests! The chart makes it easy to organize terms so that they can be simplified.There is a space for the original equation, the answer, and a sample done for the student!
