Have your student choose how they are feeling and then pick a sensory break from an array of three choices. This perfect for teaching students that they can make choices on how to calm their body down for learning. I use this with my preschoolers and I help label their emotion and then have them choose a sensory big to help them get back to our classroom. Pre- teach students how to big a sensory break while they are calm!
Materials 2 -3 person game dice ( up to 3) whistle bubbles Characters to move on the board game board Have your student roll the di and move to a oral motor action. Have the child perform the action. Easy game to work on turn taking and oral motor skills.
Pairing choices with visuals to help any student who needs to take a break and get their wiggles out. I love giving my students a choice of three options and have them pick which activity will help them the best. Pre-teach students what they can do when they feel overstimulated/silly/ or need to move, before showing them these visuals. This pairs well with my choice board product.

CORE Vocabulary introduction activity. Use the visuals to have students identify who is all done with a specific task (eating, cleaning up, bathing etc). I modeled the first picture with my pointer then had each student come up and point to who was all done and then gesture all done or hit a switch to verbalize the CORE word.

ECSE group time activity on Smart board. Sorting shapes by color, and size as well as identifying shapes in real life objects. Perfect for sorting in group or one on one. I let students use pointers with this activity to help move images on the smart board
Great resource for teaching uppercase, lowercase letters and beginning sounds. I put them on cardstock to help students grip the cards. This is a great activity to work on matching pictures in a field size of 2-3 items. This activity will help student label, distinguish same and different and also work on fine motor skills to push the cloths pin open.

This item pairs well with my choice visual set item. I present 2-3 items for my students to choose from when they are feeling: wiggle, overwhelmed, overstimulated and they need an activity to give their body a break.

Cut and laminate these flash cards to help your prek students with drawing lines and basic shapes. I like to use these flashcards when playing in sand, shaving cream or with playdoh. Help your students practice making lines with other items than a pencil. 2 & 3 year olds should be working drawing straight lines(horizontal and vertical) and circle shapes 4 & 5 year olds should be working on zigzag, basic shapes and making a cross.
A lot of beginning readers mix up the letters B and D ( lowercase most often). I created a picture sort with 10 words, 5 that start with b and five that start with d. The students will cut and glue the correct word and picture into the correct section based on which letter it starts with. Perfect for beginning of the year review and practicing identifying new letters.
Smart notebook activity working on prepositional directions on and off. Great for a group time activity or 1-1. Extension work on commenting if they animal is going on or off the object.
Real life visuals for clothing. Working on labeling item and color. Great for memory games, discrete trial training and perfect for matching assessments.

Students can have the visuals infront of them, gesture like or don't like or create 2-3 words phrases if they like to do that activity. Ex. Running I like running
