This clock activity provides students the opportunity to paint, cut, and paste. This document includes directions, suggestions, numbers, and arrows. My kindergarteners loved this project and enjoyed using it on multiple occasions.
This document contains a practice for which students read a simple word, write a word that rhymes, and use the rhyming words to write a sentence. For example, rat & hat: The rat has a funny hat.
This document includes 11 various boarder options. Students search for directed sight words the teacher filled in before printing. As students locate the sight words in text, they circle them (unless in a book), write a tally mark each time they find a word in the list, and then write the total number of times each sight word was located.
This is a check list for students as they rotate through their 100th Day of School stations. See also "100th Day of School Stations" by Back to Learning for detailed ideas of 5 stations.
It is important to be aware of ANY allergies your students may have and how to handle an allergic reaction. Ideally, print these out and distribute during your back-to-school bash or Open House to keep on file in the classroom.
*Printing on colored paper makes this stand out. Use black/ gray scale in this case.
This resource includes 3 printable worksheets for students. Ideal for math small groups, however, could be utilized during whole group or independent settings. Two of the pages are cut and paste activities from magazines and one is a sort using solid figures for which students record the number of each shape. Enjoy!
Included are three different addition sentence templates. One is just the squares with addition and equal signs. Another is an option for students to roll a die, fill in the addends with dots as they appear on the die, count the dots, and write the sum. The final is again with dice, however, students write the number for the addends, not the dots.
This document includes an activity to incorporate your classroom Word Wall. Students write one or two words for each letter or target letters. This familiarized my students with this bulletin board and I noticed them using it all the time afterwards. My kindergarten students worked on this task in a Reading Center and completed the extension independently. If I had created this when I taught 2nd grade, I would have used it during Social Studies and/or Science also but to introduce or review targ
This document includes 100 sight words for kindergarteners. I created little blue, dark pink, and green pineapples for the corners of these flash cards. In addition to the printable cards, I've included blank templates for you to create cards with extra words. Happy learning!
My kindergarteners enjoyed these stations. They included manipulatives we used often in the classroom, plus a snack station everyone was sure to enjoy!

Students love to get out of their seats while learning! It's simple! Post target words around the classroom, for example on sticky notes, and let the students loose on a scavenger hunt. Included in this document are simple directions and suggestions, a template for students to write the words on, and a writing/ illustrations template my students used all year in various subjects. I also tried my hand at drawing pineapples on the computer and included mini ones for those of you with a pineapple t
