This clock activity provides students the opportunity to paint, cut, and paste. This document includes directions, suggestions, numbers, and arrows. My kindergarteners loved this project and enjoyed using it on multiple occasions.

This document includes 11 various boarder options. Students search for directed sight words the teacher filled in before printing. As students locate the sight words in text, they circle them (unless in a book), write a tally mark each time they find a word in the list, and then write the total number of times each sight word was located.

This document includes an activity to incorporate your classroom Word Wall. Students write one or two words for each letter or target letters. This familiarized my students with this bulletin board and I noticed them using it all the time afterwards. My kindergarten students worked on this task in a Reading Center and completed the extension independently. Students love to get out of their seats while learning! It's simple! Post target words around the classroom, for example on sticky notes, and let the students loose on a scavenger hunt.
