This is a 3 day lesson that I have compiled for my classroom. Each year, I like to introduce the students to several different authors/illustrators and show them their work. It's an easy way to integrate several subjects as well as allow them creative freedom. These are fun, interactive lessons that the students enjoy and can be easily manipulated for any classroom.

This lesson can be used and adapted for a first to fifth grade level. This lesson is great for a fall unit with butterflies, but also for a unit that deals with animals adapting for nature and survival. Great lesson for classroom discussion as well.

This is a K-2 Thanksgiving Unit. It includes 5 songs/poems, 2 arts and crafts (that can easily tie into writing and math lessons), Science, Math, and Writing lessons. This unit is very diverse, and can be modified or extended easily. The unit only requires the amount of time you wish to put into it. Very hands on and engaging/great for all learning styles.

This is a k-2 fall/harvest unit that approaches different aspects of the fall season. Through songs/poems, writing, science, math and visual arts the students are able to explore harvest. Each of the lessons can be easily modified or switched up to hit different core standards. The strategies are very pliable and very engaging.
