This is a Readers Theater that I like to do in my classroom with the students during our fairy tale unit. It is a Readers Theater for 9 students with a scripts for the book The True Story of the Three Little Pigs written by Jon Scieska. Great for the students to practice fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
This is a compilation of 16 games and activities that have been used through the years in my classroom. There is a mixture of Ice Breakers, Card Games, Team Building, and Movement games. Many of the games can be easily worked into a lesson or unit, while others are more to get the wiggles out and touch on social interaction of education. These games/activities can also easily be altered for different levels both physically and cognitively.

This is an entire Newspaper Unit plan that is for a 3rd grade classroom. The set up for this Unit is for a 4 week period with about 45 minutes of work per day, but can be changed to fit any schedule. At the end of this unit, the class will have created their own newspapers with articles that each individual has developed.

This is a great lesson that all the teachers in our school use to get the students started thinking about our upcoming Oregon Trail Unit! It's a great way to assess the students previous knowledge and gets them collaborating and thinking!
This is an amazing social studies lesson plan for 3-5th grade students. The children get to explore and research the Immigration of the 1900's and compare it to what life is like now! There is a link included to a great video as well as pictures for the students to compare and contrast!

This is a set of progressive lessons based on Westward Expansion or Life of a Pioneer. These lessons are user friendly and focus on student collaboration. There is also a student self evaluation and teacher evaluation.

Creative Writing, English Language Arts, Literature
This is a 3 day lesson that I have compiled for my classroom. Each year, I like to introduce the students to several different authors/illustrators and show them their work. It's an easy way to integrate several subjects as well as allow them creative freedom. These are fun, interactive lessons that the students enjoy and can be easily manipulated for any classroom.

This is a mini lesson that is used every year to teach the students how to use character dialogue, and what character dialogue is. The students use their own personal narratives to explore this style of writing.
This is a quick and easy form to print out for students to give to their parents in regards to student pictures being taken. I know in our classroom we have a website, and it is important to have permission to use pictures of the students to put on that site.
