This is a Readers Theater that I like to do in my classroom with the students during our fairy tale unit. It is a Readers Theater for 9 students with a scripts for the book The True Story of the Three Little Pigs written by Jon Scieska. Great for the students to practice fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
This is a 3rd grade recycling webquery where the students are to bring awareness to the importance of recycling. This lesson also brings in the use of technology and research, as well as art.

This is an amazing social studies lesson plan for 3-5th grade students. The children get to explore and research the Immigration of the 1900's and compare it to what life is like now! There is a link included to a great video as well as pictures for the students to compare and contrast!

This is a great power point that teaches the importance of play for children. This is an interactive power point and even leaves with a critical thinking questions for further thought!
This is a set of progressive lessons based on Westward Expansion or Life of a Pioneer. These lessons are user friendly and focus on student collaboration. There is also a student self evaluation and teacher evaluation.

Creative Writing, English Language Arts, Literature
This is a mini lesson that is used every year to teach the students how to use character dialogue, and what character dialogue is. The students use their own personal narratives to explore this style of writing.
This is a quick and easy form to print out for students to give to their parents in regards to student pictures being taken. I know in our classroom we have a website, and it is important to have permission to use pictures of the students to put on that site. Sometimes knowing what to say, or how to ask is the hardest part...but now you have a form already made!
This is a physical education lesson on teaching children to strike appropriately. This is a power point created to take you through the lesson and demonstrate how to show proper handle holding, how to swing, etc.
This is a 2 week Unit Plan that is very versatile for a 4-6 grade level. The Unit includes a Constructivism style project for the students to focus on, and has an engaging outline for each day. The Unit focuses on Monsters, Myths and Legends and has been a hit with my students each year!

These are a set of student and parent letters that I like to send individually before the start of each school year. The student letter gives the students a little information as to what to expect the first day and of course can be shared with the parents. The parent letter asks for information on the child, such as hobbies, strengths, challenges etc. These are two great pieces to start a good report with students and families.
This is a K-1 Snowman Unit that includes songs, poems, books, literacy center ideas/worksheets and math activities. All of the unit pieces flow together for a Snowman Winter theme and can be modified for different age levels.

These are two different types of student assessments. The first is a math student check-in list. This list makes it easy to keep track of what the students have been working on, and what areas they may need to put more focus into. The next is a math goals sheet. This is an assessment form that keeps track of the dates you've checked in with that specific student, what their goals are when you checked in with them, what their strengths are and strategies to help them reach their next goal. This is a three day lesson bundle teaching students about clouds. The students will learn what a cloud is, and the three types of clouds. The lesson plans includes standards and a constructivist style teaching method.

This is a k-2 fall/harvest unit that approaches different aspects of the fall season. Through songs/poems, writing, science, math and visual arts the students are able to explore harvest. Each of the lessons can be easily modified or switched up to hit different core standards. The strategies are very pliable and very engaging.
