Here are two versions of the 'Before and After' game to help reinforce number sense. Students can play in pairs or by themselves. These games work great when put inside page protectors and use whiteboard markers to play over and over!
Game 1 - Roll two dice and use those numbers to make a 2 digit number. Example, roll a 4 and a 6 can be either 46 or 64. That 2 digit number goes in the box and then students print the numbers that come before and after.

Included are 4 variations of Today's Number. The sheets can be used for any number and you can go paperless by putting the pages in sheet protectors or write and wipe pockets and use dry erase markers.
Makes for great morning work or math centers!
The 4 variations allow for adapting for various ability levels.
These pages are to be used in conjunction with Heather Patterson's book, I Am Canada: A Celebration. There are three different pages for students at different grade or ability levels. Included is a regular lined page, one that is interlined and another simpler page that only has five interlines. There is also a sample for how the poem might look.
Included are bookmarks that list ways parents can support their child’s reading at home. It could be sent home or kept in home reading book bags for easy reference.
They are also handy to keep on hand for volunteers, TA’s or Substitutes to have when reading with individual or groups of students!
Three options for the number of minutes read each day are included: 10-15 min, 20 min and blank.
