I am currently in my 16th year teaching! I'm not sure how, but the years have gone by very quickly. I am currently a Curriculum Facilitator, and I LOVE working with teachers! I have taught in North Carolina at the elementary and middle school level. I have now officially taught ALL grades K-5, and I have learned so much from all of the teammates and students that I have had along the way. I have my Master's in School Administration, but I plan to spend a little more time in the classroom before I take on Administration responsibilities.

Science Vocabulary Ladders Freebie {Force and Motion}
These ladders are a great way for students to practice their Science vocabulary in a self-checking way. In North Carolina, students participate in a standardized test for Science, so they need to be well-aware of the vocabulary for each unit. I plan to use these as a warm up for each day to ensure mastery of the content.

S Blends Clip Activity
I created these beginning s blend cards to use during guided reading. The cards then transitioned into stations after the students were familiar with the practice of using them. Students would say the word, and color in the correct s blend. For stations, I added a dot on the back of the card to mark the correct blend for students to self-check their progress as they clipped the blends. Fun and easy practice!

This pack addresses each letter to practice letter recognition, and the most common letter sounds.
Each page has coloring components (letter outlines and picture anchors for letter sounds), recognition practice (letter searches for upper and lowercase letters), as well as handwriting practice. This adds more rigor to the everyday handwriting/letter practice for students.

Clip the Final Sound [Freebie]
Students will use clothespins to clip the final sound of the words. To make this activity self-checking, I add a small dot with a marker or a sticker under the correct letter. I have also included a recording sheet as an accountability piece. Great for RtI groups!

My students really love my roll and graph and roll and cover ABC practice, and I really love that they continue to practice their letter naming fluency in a fun way. They were so excited to see this new October version!

Number Posters 0-20 {Color and B&W}
I created these 0-20 number posters to introduce numerals and number words to my students while also working on their number sense. I included the number on a ten frame, as well as the number using place value blocks. I included two different color versions with stripes and polka dots, and a black and white version.
