About the store
I am currently in my 16th year teaching! I'm not sure how, but the years have gone by very quickly. I am currently a Curriculum Facilitator, and I LOVE working with teachers! I have taught in North Carolina at the elementary and middle school level. I have now officially taught ALL grades K-5, and I have learned so much from all of the teammates and students that I have had along the way. I have my Master's in School Administration, but I plan to spend a little more time in the classroom before I take on Administration responsibilities.

Spring Word Problems {Addition & Subtraction}
These Spring word problems can be used to help introduce students the process of solving addition and subtraction word problems. These simple problems offer students the opportunity to create and solve an equation/number sentence as well as a space to draw a picture or show their thinking. Most can be read independently by a Kindergarten level reader.

I made this pack with my students in mind, and I hope that some others can use it as well.
This pack includes:
-High-Frequency Words: I included the first 25 Dolch words, and left a blank sheet for you to add any words that you are specifically working on. There are recording sheets for rainbow writing, word stamping and write the room.
-CVC Words: There are 20 CVC words. Students can practice beginning sounds, middle vowel sounds, ending sounds, or they can build the whole word using ma

Find the Sillies! Addition Sorting
This snowflake-themed addition sorting activity was so much fun for my kinders! They used the 10 Frame mat included to solve the addition equations. They sorted the problems by checking to see if the answer that was listed was "silly" or "not silly." They were so engaged and were laughing with each other when they found "silly" problems!

My kindergarten students have enjoyed practicing their addition skills in their math tubs with this precious roll and cover leprechaun mat. Directions for play included, as well as extension activities.
