These are the Whole Brain Teaching rules I use in my classroom. They are the original rules with one change: I have changed Rule #3 "Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat" to "Treat others the way you want to be treated." I made this change in my classroom because we are often moving around the room.

Post this printable by your door so that you can remind your kiddos what great hallway behavior looks like each time you leave the classroom. The 4S's are Still, Straight, Silent, and Sagacious (smart). This covers all the bases for hallway greatness and is a great way to get students using a higher-level vocabulary word!
