The activity can be as involved as you want. This is usually one of the favorite parts of teaching math for my classes. Children get to create a spy name, complete several activities related to time, and solve a fictitious crime.

You can quickly implement your own questions into the format to individualize instruction for your classroom. When used across the grade levels, students will be able to formulate responses more thoroughly in math.
This is one of the best ways to teach money to children. It's important for them to understand that they already know how to skip count to find solutions. Now all they will have to do is mentally match the coins to the amounts to increase learning coins.
Get the students involved with their hands by using this activity. Students can use manipulatives or draw to solve the problems. This is a very basic introduction to multiplication to enhance the true aspects of the operation.
