12 years ago I created the Special Blend Coffee Shop. Special Blend is a student led business that services students with special needs. The program is an established as a student club on a high school campus with a student activities account in the school’s bookstore. I have used this business with students with severe multiple disabilities to moderate to mild disabilities. It is adaptable to every level of student in your class. Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in explicit, systematic, and data-driven instruction. I combine the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Precision Teaching to break down complex skills into manageable steps and build them to fluency and mastery.
