Special needs student led business.
12 years ago I created the Special Blend Coffee Shop. Special Blend is a student led business that services students with special needs. The program is an established as a student club on a high school campus with a student activities account in the school’s bookstore. I have used this business with students with severe multiple disabilities to moderate to mild disabilities. It is adaptable to every level of student in your class. This is an excellent way to raise funds for your classroom.

Baseline Data Collection for the Restroom
I created this form to collect baseline data for a student's restroom schedule. After I collected the data I was able to create a schedule for my staff to take the student to the restroom. This helped with decreasing the number of accidents the student had throughout the day. Easy form of special education teachers and staff.

Morning Warm up - Personal Information
I use this sheet every morning with my special needs ID students. The sheet can be easily modified for all levels of students. Currently in my classroom I have students who can write their name and students who cannot. For students who can write it provides easy to follow boundaries. For the students who cannot write I print out the letters of their name and they are required to glue the letters of their name in the correct location. Transition Planning - Parent/Student Research for DTA's (IEP)
This is an amazing form that helps parents and student research adult service agencies including day treatment for adults (DTA's) programs. The form provides parents and students with excellent questions that can be asked when researching adult programs in their community. The form has 3 columns that allows families to compare 3 different programs on one form. There are 5 pages with 23 questions.
