This tool will help students reflect on how their body and mind reacts to different emotions (labeled 1-5). You can use this chart in conjunction with the De-escalation Visual. You can minimize, laminate, and place on students' desks as a reminder of replacement behaviors.

You can use this tool in conjunction with the Student 5 Point Scale. This tool can be given to general education teachers and others that work with a child that requires behavior interventions. It is currently filled with info that addresses a student with physically aggressive behaviors. The responses are research based, but may need to be adjusted for your student.

Behavior modification is my primary focus in the classroom. I teach in a low-incidence classroom with both verbal and non-verbal students.
