In my work, for a University, I visit loads of classrooms every year and see what works, what doesn't work, and help teachers find success!! Teaching style
My goal is to help EVERY teacher implement Empirically Based Teaching and Behavior Management strategies while making them fun and EASY!!! So much great research in Education exists and my goal is to help make it accessible and easy to implement for teachers!
My own education history
I received a Bachelors of Science Degree from Utah State University in both Special Education and Elementary Education and then a Masters of Education also from Utah State University in Special Education. Then in 2004 I completed my Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on teacher training!!
Additional biographical information
I have five kiddos of my own! Together we love to travel and have visited all 50 states! Besides my being with my family and helping teachers succeed I enjoy reading and baking.
