Are you looking for a way to get students into proof writing? Rather than starting students off with immediately writing proofs, I want students to learn about their thinking style and building towards a logical argument. A nice way to end a short unit on Imaginary Numbers in an Algebra class. Students are given choices to work out problems related to imaginary numbers, write about the existence of imaginary numbers. A rubric is included for assessing student work.
