These are word wall cards that can be used for classroom display, flashcards, etc. They include all of the Second Grade Memory Words for the Superkids Reading Series. They are black and white with a polka dot border. They are editable and some blank cards are included, so you can add your own additional words if you'd like.

After passing out a chocolate chip cookie (the cookie is the ground and the chocolate chips are the artifacts) and a toothpick (the pick/shovel) have the students go on an archeological dig. Time each session and have the students stop as you wish and complete the "Fossil Dig Observation Sheet" along the way.

This worksheet could be used as an introduction, a review or an assessment. Clues are given for nine different animals. The students have to choose which need the animal is meeting based on the clues.

This sheet includes the following names in a word bank: Rosa Parks, George Washington, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, Jackie Robinson, Harriet Tubman and Ruby Bridges. It's a simple activity to use as an introduction, review or quiz around Presidents' Day and during African American History Month.

This worksheet asks questions about the story and characters in Cinderella. At the end is asks the students to create their own ending to the story Cinderella.
