This idea is taken from the CHAMPS book/class which was created by Randy Sprick. I am by no means the genius that created CHAMPS, I have just tweaked it to fit the needs of my kindergartner's and ESE students. This is a construction themed unit designed for 3 year old's. It is a collection of activities assembled into 1 cohesive file with easy to grab and print resources. This covers numbers 0-5, shapes, cutting and pasting skills. You will have to possibly buy some extra materials- though you can always choose to skip those activities!

A Bingo-type scavenger hunt for a nature walk. It focuses on plants. This is great for non-readers as it is all picture based! Would go along well with Classical Conversations Cycle 1 Week 8. I print it in black and white, then have students color with crayon in the boxes where there are colors.

This is a packet to test word fluency. During the week I practice with my students reading short vowel words with CVC spelling patterns, CCVC, and CVCC.
