This idea is taken from the CHAMPS book/class which was created by Randy Sprick. I am by no means the genius that created CHAMPS, I have just tweaked it to fit the needs of my kindergartner's and ESE students. This powerpoint is perfect for interactive, collaborative learning while simultaneously reviewing all important math topics learned throughout the year. It is also in a very similar form to the Envision Year End Review test and is a great activity to refresh student's memory on what they learned all year. This is a great tool to use to give parent's concrete data along with their report card. It gives an overview of the very basics needed that align with Common Core. It also gives space for you to write concrete skills for parent's to work on with their student at home. This is a word document, so feel free to change this and alter as needed to fit your students.

This a book for the song "Have You Heard About Compound Words?" by Jack Hartmann from the CD Hip-Hop Alphabop. I suggest cutting out the words and pictures and backing them on a colorful piece of card stock or construction paper and then laminating. There are 4, fifteen minute tickets. They can help you monitor exactly how much screen time your child/children are using. You can print as many as you have kids. I give my son 3 (sometimes 4) to use a day.
