Over the past 17 years in early childhood education, I’ve had the joy of helping young students discover the magic of reading. It’s so rewarding to see them grow in confidence, not just in their schoolwork but also as they dream about their futures. I love creating a warm, welcoming environment where kids feel supported and excited to learn!

My teaching style revolves around the use of small group instruction, which fosters a collaborative and interactive learning environment. I believe that when students work closely in smaller groups, they have the opportunity to learn from each other, share diverse perspectives, and develop critical thinking skills. In this setup, I encourage independent work during designated periods, allowing students to explore concepts at their own pace and build confidence in their abilities. Additionally, I provide targeted support during small group sessions, guiding each student based on their individual needs and challenges. This approach not only promotes student success but also cultivates a sense of community and belonging within the classroom. Overall, I aim to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive academically and personally.
