Experience

Welcome! I'm passionate about helping young learners discover the joy of learning through hands-on, engaging activities. With experience teaching grades 1–5, I create resources that encourage students to explore, create, and think critically while producing authentic real-world work. My goal is to make learning meaningful, memorable, and fun while giving teachers practical, classroom-ready resources they can use with confidence!

Teaching style

Project-based and performance-based learning are at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I believe students learn best when they are actively engaged in meaningful, hands-on experiences that connect learning to the real world. My instructional approach incorporates the Singapore Math model, guiding students from concrete experiences, to pictorial representations, and finally to abstract understanding. I also utilize cooperative learning structures and engagement protocols that encourage every student to participate, collaborate, and contribute to the learning process.

Additional biographical information

Born and raised in sunny Southern California, I developed a love for beach bonfires, Disneyland, Broadway shows, and a great burger from Tommy’s Original. These days, I call northern Utah home, where I enjoy exploring National Parks, camping, hiking, and even 4-wheeling through the snow. Whether I'm creating classroom resources or heading out on an adventure, I love discovering new experiences and sharing that sense of curiosity and excitement with others.
