About the store

I've loved treasure hunts and solving clues ever since I was a kid. As an elementary teacher for over 15 years, I created Blimey Box as a way to inspire and challenge my 5-year-old son. In order to help him develop critical thinking skills, I created a mystery-solving game that incorporated early math and reading skills at his level. It started as a fun way to support him academically at home, but it turned into a way to inspire curious kids to excel! Curiosity fuels learning. My kid was so motivated by our games, I decided to start making a digital version to use in my classroom. If my games could inspire my child that much, they could definitely motivate a classroom of students. Educational escape games get kids to think outside the box with engaging math and reading puzzles.
