Encanto Math Word Problems (Trail Run)
A trail run (an interactive game where students move around the room) working with addition, subtraction, and multiplication word problems. All of the word problems are themed around Disney's Encanto and its characters. There are 9 word problems and this should be able to be completed and graded within a normal "class period." My approach to curriculum is rooted in a diverse career across the K-12 spectrum. I began my journey in a 4th-grade classroom before spending 7 years teaching 8th–12th grade English in a traditional in-person setting. During that time, I specialized in curriculum writing, developing structured systems to improve student outcomes.
I have extensive experience in co-teaching reading at the middle and elementary levels, as well as time spent in classrooms ranging from pre-school to high school. I have also worked as a High School English teacher in an online environment, allowing me to stay at the forefront of digital literacy and modern instructional technology.
I recently transitioned from the classroom to working as a Business and Quality Analyst.
