Experience
I have been teaching 23 years in the field of Biology. I am now teaching Pre AP Biology and Anatomy. I have always enjoyed Science and sharing it with the students I teach.
Teaching style
I believe that students learn different ways. I don't use one certain teaching style. I try to incorporate a little bit of everything in each class such as lecture, group activity, independent work, lab, etc.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I have received Teacher of the Year twice in my career. I am very humbled by these two awards and will cherish them forever.
My own education history
I graduated Jacksonville State University with a B.S. degree in Biology & Chemistry. I also have a Master's from the University of Alabama in Secondary Biology Education.
