About the store

I started off my teaching career in ESL, using my own mix of games, flashcards, songs and roleplay to teach English to 3 to 15 year olds. I then pursued Montessori training and now work as a bilingual educator in a small Montessori school for 2-6 year olds. My passion for education is matched by my love of nature and holistic living - I try to incorporate environmental education as much as possible in my teaching.

This package is designed to introduce young learners ( 3 - 6, or older for ESL) to both familiar and exotic fruits from around the world. Included in the package is a poster classifying fruits into 3 categories ( tropical, temperate, subtropical) using a corresponding colour code for ease of learning and independant use. You will also find a climate definition poster to explore climate zones with your students with examples of countries representing each zone. I have chosen 24 different fruits (

These Montessori 3 part cards introduce the geographical features of Reunion Island, such as volcano, crater and waterfall. Can be used as a study of islands, French speaking places or to introduce topography and geography vocabulary. I use this set with bilingual children from 2-9 years as part of the Montessori method. All vocabulary is colour coded to enable easy bilingual learning at home or in the classroom.
