Welcome to Boyles Learning Resources!
I am a middle school special education life science teacher who creates practical, classroom-tested resources for special education, intervention, and life science classrooms. My goal is to provide materials that save teachers time while supporting student growth through meaningful instruction, progress monitoring, and IEP goal implementation.
In my store, you'll find resources focused on reading intervention, reading comprehension, progress monitoring, data collection, IEP support, and middle school life science. While you may find a few older early childhood resources, my primary focus is creating materials for special education teachers, interventionists, and middle school educators.

Matching 6 ornaments. One page is to laminate as a "board". The second page is to cut out the ornaments and laminate. Students place the matching ornament card on the correct spot on the board.

Modeling Plant and Animal Cells
Google Slides all about Plant & Animal Cells. This includes microscope slide images as well as images of plant & animal cell models. There are assessment model questions, a T-chart, a Venn Diagram, and microscope slide images in which student identify if they are observing a plant cell or an animal cell. Characteristics of Life
There are 108 slides about the 8 characteristics of life. The first 36 slides are the main slideshow for the 8 characteristics of life. The next set contains slides with blanks for guided student notes. These can be printed as PDF's (1 or 2 slides per page) and make a great notes packet for students. The last group of slides can be printed as a key that directly correlates with the fill-in-the-blank notes.

These are PDFs of the 12 months of the year and the 7 days of the week. Each month is one full 11"x8.5" page. The days of the week are 2 days per 11"x8.5". Just print, cut the days sheets in half, laminate, and post in your classroom!

These are great to label centers. If you have a set number of students that will safely fit into a center, print and laminate that number (pages for numbers 3 - 8). 15 pages (14 different name tag styles). Each page contains 4 identical name tag styles (apple, leaf, pumpkin, snowman, Christmas tree, heart border, heart, 4 leaf clover, sun, earth, colored pencil border, lego border, ice cream cone, colored pencils). WSO Developmental Checklist summary forms for all students. Each domain has one file with blank boxes in which to write students' names. There is also a file with text boxes set up to type the students' names. All domains included and all correspond directly to the WSO Developmental Checklist.

Blending Words Beginning with "A", "B", and "SH"
Each row contains three boxes. The first box is the beginning letter(s) (A, B, or SH). The second box contains the rest of the word. The third box is a picture of the word. Cut and laminate the cards and have students join words to match the picture. Words should be sounded out in order to blend the beginning and ending. For students just beginning, read the end of the word and have the student blend with the beginning sound and find the corresponding picture.

My own education history
I graduated from GA Tech with a Bachelors in Management/Accounting. I later completed my Masters in Education from the University of GA and my Ed.S. from the University of West GA. I am a GA Certified teacher in PK-5, Math Grades 4-8, Math Grades 6-12, Science Grades 4-8, and Special Education (P-12).
