This Excel doc will automatically display a percentage for you. The formula is already entered and ready to go. I used to use this type of document to run a contest between all the periods I taught. I would keep track of how many students in each class finished homework or turned in a particular form, etc.
I would then use the opportunity to discuss percentages and averages.

Experience

Teaching style
I approach all of my teaching these days with the question, "How can technology be a container for learning an objective?" I have witnessed dramatically how even the simplest of technologies can transform a lesson from something that turns students off to something that improves attendance and engagement. It even makes me want to be there more!

I am the husband of a treasure of a wife, and the father of 6 amazing children. I have been an elementary teacher, a middle school teacher, and I am currently astounded by the fact that I am being paid to teach with technology.
