Teaching style

I’m Meghan, a longtime special education teacher passionate about creating calm, structured, and engaging learning experiences for all learners—especially those who thrive with clear routines, visual supports, and thoughtful scaffolding. My teaching style blends high expectations with high compassion: predictable systems, trauma-informed practices, meaningful relationships, and resources that help students feel safe, capable, and confident. In my classroom, everything has a purpose—and everything is designed to reduce overwhelm. You’ll find materials that are visually clean, easy to follow, and built to support executive functioning, behavior regulation, and academic success. Whether you teach in a self-contained setting, resource classroom, or general education environment, my goal is to provide tools that help you teach smarter, not harder. Thanks for stopping by—I’m so glad you’re here!

Additional biographical information

Outside of the classroom, I’m a mom, animal lover, and lifelong creative who finds joy in travel, DIY projects, and building calm, beautiful spaces—both at home and at school. I’m passionate about helping students grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally, and I bring that same care and intentionality into the resources I create. I love designing tools that are visually clean, accessible, and teacher-friendly—because educators deserve materials that work as hard as they do. When I’m not teaching or creating, you’ll usually find me enjoying a strong cup of coffee, spending time with my dogs, or exploring new places with my son. Thanks for learning a little more about me—I’m so glad to connect with you here!
