These are spelling word crossword puzzles are for the reading series "Journeys" at the 5th grade level. It is important for students to not only know the proper spelling of these words, but the definitions and the context that they are meant. Students will read the "clues" which are the definitions of the spelling words and choose the correct word from their weekly list to complete the puzzle. To aid students in studying and practicing the skills that they need to pass the mid module test for unit 1 I took the quiz and changed the value of the questions asked so that students can practice similar problems to what they will be tested on. This quiz is given after Lesson 8.
