This Jeopardy Powerpoint is designed to review 5th Grade, or possibly 6th Grade, algebraic concepts. Categories include: Algebra Vocabulary, Soving Addition and Subtraction Equations, Solving Multiplication and Division Equations, Algebraic Patterns, Finding Algebraic Rules, and Representing Unknown Quantities Algebraicly.

This Powerpoint is created as a companion piece for the book "Spaghetti and Meatballs For All," by Marilyn Burns. This humorous story illustrates the relationship between area and perimeter, as the family realizes that as they push tables together there are less seats available. This Jeopardy Game focuses on 5th - 7th Grade Measurement skills (I created it for 6th Grade.) Categories are: "The Ruler," "Customary Units," "The Metric System," "Elaspsed Time," "Perimeter," and "Angles." Skills reviewd include measuring to nearest 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, cm., and mm. Converting units in customary and metric systems. Elapsed time, finding perimeiters, and measuring/describing/finding missing angles.

This is a list of cusomary units of measurements conversion for Length, Weight, and Capacity. In my class, I use the Video Game term, "Cheat Code" to refer to these conversion numbers. For example: If a problem deals with Inches & Feet, the Cheat Code is 12. If a problem deals with Quarts & Gallons, the Cheat Code is 4. You always multiply or divide by the Cheat Code to convert.
