I made these worksheets for my 3rd graders to practice using Cuisenaire Rods when creating equivalent fractions. In this activity students can cut out Cuisenaire Rods and use them on each number line. Sometimes materials are limited so if you don't have enough rods to pass out to all students the cut-out ones can be used to supplement. Use this worksheet in whole group, small group or collaborative groups during your Math block. It'll be a great activity for your students to participate in

Use this activity to help your students determine if it is possible to decompose a ten when subtracting two and one digit numbers. This activity provides students with base ten block visuals to help them visualize the computation and math concept. Additionally, asking students to explain their thinking will help you check for their understanding of the concept.

Help students have FUN while determining the Perimeter of a rectangle! They will have to solve for the perimeter of each rectangle to determine what the answer to the riddle is!

I made this worksheet for my third grade students to use when comparing different fraction models using the greater than, less than and equal to signs. It was a nice warm-up for my students before small groups and can even be used as an exit card.

Students will have a blast determining the Area of each rectangle to solve the riddle! Students can use repeated addition to create an equation that will help them solve for the area of each shape.
