I made these worksheets for my 3rd graders to practice using Cuisenaire Rods when creating equivalent fractions. In this activity students can cut out Cuisenaire Rods and use them on each number line. Sometimes materials are limited so if you don't have enough rods to pass out to all students the cut-out ones can be used to supplement. Use this worksheet in whole group, small group or collaborative groups during your Math block. It'll be a great activity for your students to participate in

Use this activity to help your students determine if it is possible to decompose a ten when subtracting two and one digit numbers. This activity provides students with base ten block visuals to help them visualize the computation and math concept. Additionally, asking students to explain their thinking will help you check for their understanding of the concept.

Want to make word work fun? Who doesn't love a word search?! I made a few word searches using blends, chunks, word wall words and etc. You can customize it to the words your students are working on at the time and just add a slide/modify a slide to make it work for the next week.

I made this worksheet for my third grade students to use when comparing different fraction models using the greater than, less than and equal to signs. It was a nice warm-up for my students before small groups and can even be used as an exit card.

This is a simple, easy to understand behavior contract for students who need that extra visual and motivation to do well in the classroom/school. Place a sticker on each set of footprints until the student reaches his goal and then he/she will be rewarded.
