Students use this worksheet to reinforce the concept of columns and rows. It can also be used to introduce the concept of arrays and area. I used this worksheet as a homework sheet and also as a math warm up.

This center activity is great for students to work in groups and discover their own fact families. This package includes the worksheet for the students and the numbers to print out. Students work in a group to rearrange numbers and symbols to make the fact families true.

Students are asked to answer questions like, "1. Create a 2-unit pattern. What color will the 15th heart be?". Students fill in the hearts to make it match the pattern given in the question. They then have to follow and repeat the pattern to find out what the 15th heart will be. This is a great math activity to go along with Valentine's Day!

Have kids use this to help them memorize their double facts in math! Great for those students that need a visualization and it allows them to have an authentic experience as they think about real life objects that come in doubles.
