Before each chapter I teach in Pre-Calculus I give my students this work to complete so that they will be ready for the types of question we will cover in the upcoming chapter. By providing the students with this very basic set of problems they build the confidence to solve more complex problems as they arise within the chapter. All of the problems selected cover basic problems the students should know before starting each individual chapter in Pre-Calculus which includes FunctionsPolynomialsRa
Once students have a grasp of the basic trigonometric identities we introduce them to the pythagorean identities. Students often have trouble remembering these identities when they are not presented in the form the students are most familiar with. So I provide student 18 examples for them to simplify the trigonometric expression using the Pythagorean Identities.

Factoring is one of those topics that I have seen countless of students struggle with from Algebra 1 all the way up to Calculus. One of the problems I noticed is that many students learned how to factor but never had the practice to develop the relationships between the numbers and the factored expressions. This worksheet is designed to help students see the patterns in factoring by factoring every possible quadratic when a=1 and c=1 all the way up to c=12. I provide this to my students every
